Visitors can create, learn and play using real tools and real processes at the following weekly classes.
Tot Time Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 11:00 am – noon
Children ages 18 months through 3 years and their caregivers learn through hands-on activities, songs and stories based on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligence Theory.
$5 for members, $6.25 for non-members. Admission to the Museum not included. Multiple class discounts available.

Pittsburgh has the unique landscape that requires unique solutions to problems. Learn how simple machines like the incline plane and pulley allow people to commute up and down our hills.
Invention Pittsburgh Week Feb 24th - Mar 2nd
Pittsburgh is the birthplace to many innovations that go unnoticed. Join us as we look at the history of the people of Pittsburgh’s inventions. Then make your own invention in our Workshop.
