Don’t miss the opening of ToonSeum, a new exhibit gallery in the Museum, and its first exhibit, From Illustration to Animation: Books Come Alive Through the Art of Animation. The exhibit features original art from some of the all-time greatest animation, cartoons, comic books and comic strips spanning over 100 years. Includes original cels, backgrounds and sketches from the animated versions of The Cat in the Hat, Charlotte’s Web, Madeline, Horton Hears a Who, Lord of the Rings, Babar The Elephant and much more.

The Breakfast Brigade
First Saturday of every month
10:00 am - Noon

Join us for a new way to kick off the weekend! Be part of The Saturday Light Brigade radio program's live audience in the Museum's Grand Hall. Enjoy live music, interactive games and puzzles, CD giveaways and more. Breakfast is available, including our new cereal bar where you can create any wild cereal concoction you can imagine.

Featured Live Music includes:

Enjoy a fantastic lineup of children’s performers at the Museum, from puppeteers to musical acts, cartoonists to artists and actors. Hands-on creative activities are included with many performances.

Weekly features include a musical Stuffee show with Professor MiGooch every Friday at noon. Check the Calendar of Events for daily performances in bright blue.

All performances and activities in the series are free with Museum admission.
