Use the following materials to see if you can move water from one container to another using only a tube.
 
Materials

  • Two clear plastic containers (recycled water bottles and milk jugs work well)
  • Flexible plastic tubing
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Pour water in one container to fill it at least halfway.
  2. Experiment with how you can use the tubing to get the water out of this container and into the empty container.

    Hint: Try putting the containers at different heights by holding or raising one above the other.
