1. Take the 6th Street Bridge
and proceed straight until you can't go any further. 2. Turn right onto South
Commons. 3. Stay left through the next
traffic light and continue around the square until you see the Children's
Museum on the left. 4. Go straight through the
traffic light that sits beside the Children's Museum. 5. About 25 yards after the
traffic light, make a left to the inner circle and follow it around to the
Children's Museum, which will be on your right. 6. Parking is just past the
Museum. From Monroeville and the
East: 1.
Take Interstate 376 (Parkway East) going west to downtown Pittsburgh
and take Exit 1 (the North Shore exit) across the Fort Duquesne Bridge. 2.
Keep to the left and take exit 7A, the North Shore exit. You
will see Heinz Field on your left. 3.
Go down the ramp and turn right at the traffic light onto
Allegheny Avenue. Stay in the left lane. 4.
At the second traffic light, make a right onto Western Avenue. 5.
Go straight through four traffic lights until you can't go any
further. The Children's Museum will be directly in front of you. 6.
Turn right onto West Commons. 7.
Get immediately into the far left lane and make the first left
into the inner circle. 8.
Follow the road around to the Children's Museum, which will be
on your right. Parking is just past the Museum. 1.
Take Interstate 79 and/or 279 (Parkway West) going north and
drive through the Fort Pitt Tunnels. 2.
Keep to the left following 279 North and follow signs to the
Fort Duquesne Bridge. 3.
Keep to the left and take exit 7A, the North Shore exit. You
will see Heinz Field on your left. 4.
Go down the ramp and turn right at the traffic light onto
Allegheny Avenue. Stay in the left lane. 5.
At the second traffic light, make a right onto Western Avenue. 6.
Go straight through four traffic lights until you can't go any
further. The Children's Museum will be directly in front of you. 7.
Turn right onto West Commons. Get immediately into the far left
lane and make the first left into the inner circle. 8.
Follow the road around to the Children's Museum, which will be
on your right. Parking is just past the Museum. From Fox Chapel and Butler
area: 1.
Follow Route 28 South and exit at East Ohio Street. 2.
Stay on East Ohio Street until you can't go any further. 3.
Turn right at the traffic light onto East Commons and follow the
road to the opposite side of the square. 4.
On West Commons, you will see the Children's Museum on the left.

Go straight through the traffic light that sits beside the
Children's Museum. 6.
About 25 yards after the light, make a left onto the inner
circle and follow the road around to the Children's Museum, which will be on
your right. Parking is just past the Museum. From North Hills and
Cranberry: 1.
Follow Interstate 79 South to Interstate 279 South. 2.
Take Exit 8B, East Street. 3.
Go straight through two traffic lights and at the third light,
make a right onto East Ohio Street. 4.
Take East Ohio Street until it ends at East Commons (one side of
a one-way square.) 5.
Turn right at the light and follow the road to the opposite side
of the square. 6.
Go through the light at the intersection with Ridge Ave. The Children's
Museum will be on your left. 7.
About 25 yards after the light, make a left onto the inner
circle and follow it around to the Children's Museum, which will be on your
right. Parking is just past the Museum entrance. From Route 65 and Ohio River
Boulevard: 1.
Take the Route 19 Exit. Stay in the left lane. 2.
At the first traffic light, follow signs to the North Side. 3.
Turn right onto Brighton. 4.
Make a left onto Western Avenue. 5.
Go straight until you reach West Commons and you can't go any
further. The Children's Museum will be directly in front of you. 6.
Turn right onto West Commons. Get immediately into the far left
lane and make the first left onto the inner circle. 7.
Follow the road around to the Children's Museum, which will be
on your right. Parking is just past the Museum. From Pittsburgh International
Airport: 7. Exit the airport taking Route
60 South towards Pittsburgh/I-79. 8. This road will merge into
Route 22E/30E. Route 22E/30E becomes I-279 N. 9. Take I-279 N through the Fort
Pitt Tunnel towards downtown Pittsburgh, keeping in the left lane. As you
exit the tunnel, you are on the Fort Pitt Bridge. Get immediately into your
far left lane, following signs for the Fort Duquesne Bridge, the North Shore
and the stadiums. 10. Stay in the left lane as you
go over the bridge and take Exit 7A, the North Shore exit. You will see Heinz
Field on your left. 11. Go down the ramp and take a
right onto Allegheny Avenue. Get immediately in your left lane. 12. At the second traffic light,
make a right onto Western Avenue. 13. Go straight through four
traffic lights until you can't go any further. You will see the Children's
Museum (copper/blue dome) directly in front of you. 14. Turn right onto West Commons
and get immediately into your far left lane. Make the first left into the
inner circle, following a sign for the Museum. 15. Follow the road around to the
Children's Museum, which will be on your right. Parking is just past the
